Privacy Policy

This policy explains how MI TAXI LAX, LLC, doing business as Ride Rapidito, handles personal information through our passenger app, driver app, website, and related ride services.

Information we collect

We collect account information such as name, mobile number, preferred language, profile photo, authentication details, and account status. With permission, we collect precise location for pickup detection, maps, matching, navigation, trip coordination, and safety. We collect pickup and destination addresses, trip status, route, timestamps, distance, fares, ratings, and ride history.

Driver applicants also provide license, insurance, vehicle and license-plate information, photos and application documents, approval status, and payout information. We collect in-app messages, support and safety reports, payment disputes, payment method and confirmation information, push-notification tokens, device information, and technical logs.

How we use information

We use information to create accounts; provide ride requests, matching, maps, navigation, fares, and trip updates; verify riders, drivers, vehicles, and payments; send authentication and service messages; address safety, support, fraud, and legal matters; and improve the service.

Sharing

Matched riders and drivers receive information necessary to coordinate a trip. We use providers including Supabase for authentication, databases, and storage; Google Maps Platform for mapping and location functions; Expo for notification and build services; Bird for SMS verification; and hosting providers. We may disclose information when required by law or to protect users. Ride Rapidito does not sell personal information for money.

Retention and deletion

We retain information while an account is active and as needed for service, safety, fraud prevention, disputes, accounting, tax, and legal requirements. After a verified deletion request, information is deleted or de-identified unless retention is required for those purposes.

Your choices and rights

You may change device permissions in system settings and request access, correction, or deletion by contacting us. California residents may have additional rights to know, correct, delete, and limit certain uses of personal information without discriminatory treatment.

Security

We use encrypted connections, authentication, access controls, and private storage designed to protect personal information. No system can guarantee absolute security.

Children

Ride Rapidito is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.

Changes and contact

We may update this policy and will revise its effective date. Contact support@riderapidito.com with privacy questions or requests.
